A Note From Michael

I want to address a change we're making, effective today. After careful thought and dialogue with peers, I have decided that opinion cannot live in the same space as peer-reviewed research, regardless of how true the opinion may be. On a platform where everything else is backed by peer-reviewed citations, opinion inherits credibility it hasn't earned — it starts to read as truth. I've published several articles with my own commentary on the FDA and regulation. This decision isn't a result of my opinions changing in any way. I have come to the conclusion that sharing my opinion on this platform violates a core value of our mission, and therefore I am obligated to correct my mistake.

Peptide Initiative has always been about giving the general public accurate, relevant information on the therapeutic benefits of peptides in a way that's easy to consume and share. We want to level the playing field, because we believe you make the best decisions for your health when you have the information to do it with. Although my intentions have always been to bring truth and awareness to this platform, there simply cannot be space for opinion presented alongside evidence if we are to achieve our goals. It is for this purpose that we're removing opinion pieces from the site and stripping editorial commentary from every reference page. What remains is our complete commitment to the accuracy and integrity of the data on every page of this platform.
